I bought solid wood knotty arder kitchen cabinets. The Co. forgot to add the side pieces (plates). They sent them to me. One contractor I trust said to nail them. Another whom I don’t trust much said the same.
I took wood working in HS 50 decades ago and I don’t see why I cannot glue them. Thanks

glueing them is possible but the glue can seperate from the cabinets causing a gap
or if they sustain a hit in the right spot come off all together
if your dead set on glueing, at least put a few nails along the exposed side to minimize the gap
