You can simply not have enough storage. We put stuff away after each dinner now to make lunches for the kids, and that entails two sets of different storage bins as one of our two children has food allergies. We really like these rubbermaid sets as you get two 1/2-, 1-1/4-, 2-, 3-, 5-, and 7-cup food-storage containers with matching lids. They have super-clear bases allow for better visibility of inside contents, and the lids snap together and to base bottoms which makes a totally space-efficient design for storing. The storage of the storage is key. We simply didn’t have enough space until we got these rubbermaid containers and stored them in our “storage drawer”. For years, Savage, Minnesota  resident Paul Flynn would go into people’s homes as an appliance repairman to eliminate odors from washing machines. After seeing the problem over and over again, Flynn came up with a way to fix the problem that didn’t require him to take the machine apart by creating a product called SmellyWasher. Recalling some concoctions he used to clean submarine parts while in the Navy, Flynn mixed ingredients together to eliminate the smell. About four years ago, he and a few others sat around his kitchen table pouring the mixture into plastic baggies and sending it to customers around the world. Now SmellyWasher has grown so fast it’s the best-selling cleaning product sold worldwide in Ace Hardware stores. His hometown Newspaper, The Savage Pacer writes: Washing machines emit foul odors primarily because of poor washing habits, Flynn said. Mold and mildew build up in the machine from using too much detergent, fabric softener and inappropriate water temperatures. “It’s all our fault,” he said

We think of the rolling microwave cutting board cart as one of the first free standing kitchens. We don’t currently have room for such a cart in our kitchen, but if you do - it’s a think of beauty. We used to have one and would roll it out and put all the h’orderves on it when having parties. It’s a also great to set a slow cooker on. This practical contemporary kitchen cart has two drop leaves, one on each side, providing room for food preparation and also helping to minimize the space it needs when not in use. The working drawer provides storage for utensils. Dishes, pots, or glasses can be conveniently stored in the cabinet with two doors. This mobile kitchen cart can be eaily moved when needed with the smart and functional casters, and like we said rolled out at parties.

Designers Yoonjung Kim and Jongrok Lee have designed a concept refrigerator that allows users to see what’s stored inside without opening the door. With the touch of a finger, the glass door turns from frosty blue to see through. This concept would save lots of energy for those who love to browse. You know - you don’t have to have some fancy frost changing glass either - how about just a door for the door - like a sliding door that reveals the food? It does however preclude now having stuff on the door like ketchup. Via PSFK
