So I have a 2.5 year old girl and 8 month old boy. I am really unsure if I got them enough things. This is the first real Christmas that we are celebrating.
2.5 Daughter:
Mega Bloks
3 Cabbage Patch Dolls
Lovie Blanky
2 Books
Little Mommy Christmas Doll
1 Dolls Accessories for the Cabbage Patch Dolls
Santa Mr. Potato Head
Mrs. Potato Head
Barbie Doll
Play Kitchen
Art Aisle
Crayola Art Seat
Princess Tiana Dress Up Stuff
Giraffalaff Limbo Game
Bunch of stocking stuffers
I am still looking for the Princess Tiana Doll and Zhu Zhu Pets & Doll Stroller with swivel wheels.
8 Month Son:
Mega Bloks Piano
Playskool Busy Ball-tivity Center
Bear
Santa Stuffed Animal With Blanket
About $100 worth of clothing
Infantino Hammer ‘N Flip Fun Bench
Books
Fisher Price Gymnastics Play Wall
Stocking Stuffers
I feel like I need to get him more
Thanks everyone my daughter knows what the toys are and tells me what she would like. My kids are not spoiled this is the only time of year I buy toys aside from Birthdays which is only two toys.
That is why I try to buy enough to last the year because they won’t be getting anymore.

Wow, very spoilt.
indeed you have. Make sure not to do this too often as they get older.
Wow. That’s a lot of stuff.
I think that’s PLENTY, but if you feel the need to spoil your kids more than that, that’s your prerogative.
Just keep in mind, your kids are going to keep wanting/expecting the same or more every Christmas. :-]
Wow lol, that’s a lot of stuff.
I only got 3 presents for my 11 month old daughter.
1. A small little stroller with a baby doll on it.
2. A little house for baby with balls in it (like the ones in peter piper)
3. My husband got her something, but he won’t tell me what it is.
yes i think you did buy more then enough. my son who is only 11 months i didnt buy that much i figured hes too young to even realize and i know he will get a ton of presents from relatives.
Are you trying to impress us or something. No one cares how much you bought them. It’s the thought and kids don’t need expensive stuff for Christmas, they are more thrilled with the boxes the toys came in.
did you wanna just brag or/.wats up
you know thats “enough”.so why come on here and ask
Children care more about the wrapping paper than the presents, I’ve learned.
They also don’t appreciate gifts as much as they appreciate spending time with mom and dad.
I suggest teaching your kids the real meaning of the season. giving, not getting. start them off young so they learn that they aren’t the center of the universe, and there are people in need, not “in want.” Its ok to get your kids presents as a token of your love but don’t let them think that that’s all there is to love. People that have that sort of upbringing end up with a false sense of entitlement, end up spoiled, self righteous, and as raging shopaholics that put a drain on the economy.
WOW. I hope you know that they will mean nothing to her when he wakes up the next day.
Save your money.he’s gonna be asking for it when he’s a teenager.
you need to stop how do you do it thats too much stuff . how much of it will you keep in the next five years
that’s a great list for both. try to get your son a few more fun things though.
A+.
WOW.that is plenty of stuff.i only got my son two toys thats it.besides they are small they wont even realize all the things you give them or care for it either.
i think you should take all bare three gifts each back to the store and donate the money to charity instead.
Wow. I thought i was going overboard i bought my 5 months old 7-8 toys. and 100 bucks in clothes and a highchair since we needed it. I think your 2 1/2 will be very very happy. I wouldnt worry about getting anything else they both will have a great christmas and are still young enough anyways to still not really know what everything is about.
