The entire kitchen is wood, wall, cabinets, floor. There is a work island(wood with a butcher block top) in the center of the appliance area. We bought new appliances all black. I desperately need to change the walls. Help with some ideas. We are putting in new cabinets. Should I paint them or stain again. Any suggestions. help

I would paint the walls.
You are getting new kitchen cabinets, hooray. Take this kitchen makeover all the way and paint those walls. It is time for a complete change, right.
You will need to find inspiration for paint color. Do you have any dishes, pottery, fabric or another favorite object that you love. What are the colors in this object. I find this to be the easiest way to select paint color. You can find color inspiration in many places from vacation photographs to artwork from a greeting card. Keep your eyes open and you will see that what you are seeking may be right in front of you.
I selected my bedroom paint color from a color found in a set of $5.00 pillow cases on the clearance rack. I just knew it when I saw it and I still love it.
when you change out the cabinets remove to the studs than re sheet rock and paint
I think getting new cabinets can transform your kitchen but you can also DIY and save money. Going with a darker color can help make it stand out against the walls. Good luck with everything.
