So, I have little bugs that fly around my kitchen constantly, and no matter how much I sprayed and cleaned, they always kept coming back, so my mom suggested I get one of those cans from the hardware store that sprays the entire place. So I did. I stayed out of the apartment for 4 hours as the label said, and then returned to open all my windows and left for another 30 minutes, again as the label instructed. I am really nervous about sleeping here tonight though, but its almost 1am where I am, and I have class in the morning, AND my parents house is about a half hour away from here (I live about a mile from my college), and I have class at 8am and if I went home i would have to get up at probably about 5am, due to the fact that traffic on the way here is absolutely ridiculous in the morning because U of M Hospital is right down the street.
Is it okay to sleep here tonight and I’m just being paranoid, or should I not sleep here even though I used the can exactly as instructed by the label.
hahaha, thanks. You’re answer was pretty funny (first answer)

Sleep at this house with the bugs. You will be fine as the can instructed. Make sure your bedroom window(s) are open. Those fumes kill little bugs. It isn’t enough to harm you unless you suck on the can or spray it on dinner.
PS is there trash nearby like within a 20 foot radius outdoors or as much as a 35 foot radius if indoors or semi-closed building like an apartment complex. Like trash cans or dumpsters. Those little annoying bugs often show up when dumpsters and trash cans are not thoroughly cleaned on a routine basis.
I would suggest stripping your bed and putting on fresh linens. All your plates, silverware and countertops will have to be thoroughly washed and rinsed. You don’t have to do this tonight, but I wouldn’t eat off of anything until you do. Also, did you put all your non refrigerated foods in the refrigerator while you were doing this. Foods like cereal, flour, the stuff you keep in cabinets. If not, all that has to be tossed.
I worked as a Veterinary Technician for 13 years. Those bombs are toxic and the residue is harmful. Most animal hospitals don’t sell them anymore.
It sounds like you have fruit flies. There are traps you can put in your pantry or kitchen to catch them.
