I recently bought a new kitchen faucet set online. I came with a goose neck facuet, the main valve (for turning on and mixing hot and cold supplies, and a sprayer. So the actual faucet is separate from the valve. Here is my issue, the main valve has a hot and cold input, and one output line. In order to attach a sprayer I had to create a “T” using fittings and hose from the hardware store, this solution works fine except that when I operate the sprayer I still get water coming from the faucet. Is there an inline valve or something I could put in place that would divert all water to the sprayer when Im using it. Optimally this would be something automatic.

If the faucet set did not include the sprayer, it was not made to have one. I don’t know of any remedy that would do what you want.
faucets that come with a sprayer have a built in diverter valve that diverts the water when the sprayer is in use. Are you sure that the sprayer came with the faucet.
