We are looking at a house that would be out of our price range because of its size and location if it wasn’t for the work that it needs. Please give me a rough estimate of how much these things might cost.
1. Removal of 2 large pine trees in front of the house
2. New composition roof
3. New kitchen (at least appliances for now)
4. Overall carpeting/painting for a 4 bdrm home.
I know the info is very vague, but your best guesstimate would do.
Thanks

1) $ 750
2) depends on the size, around $ 3000 for average roof
3) $ 3000 for stainless, $ 1800 for base modles
4) $ 6000 for carpets, $ 4000 for painting
speaking from experience of my own renovations.
1. Keep in mind, depending on where you live, it’s illegal to cut a tree without a permit. you’ll want to check because the fines are very high.
2. Can’t tell you the cost of the roof, since you didn’t give us the size.
3. Appliances - depends on what you want. You can get a whole set of applicances for under 2000$ if you’re willing to go white and plain. If not, we’re talking at least 4000$ and up.
4. Painting and carpeting - depends on if you install yourself, size of rooms, etc.
Yes, your info is very vague to say the least. And much depends on where you live.
So, a “guesstimate” for this is out of my league, there’s just not enough info.
