		<description>yes you can do it yourself.as you already said shut off the main and run your new line and install a shut off valve. use a flex line for gas installations.and be sure to check for any leaks.save yourself 300 bucks.</description>

		<description>It is a simple connection to hook up but check with local and state laws. It might be against the law to do this yourself because of the hazard of leaking gas connections. A licensed professional should do it.</description>
