I have a peculiar problem with a cooking oil issue.
I recently moved to an apartment which has no ventilation fan above the kitchen oven and stove-top.
Since being here for 3+ months the process of cooking food has left a cooking oil deposit (an extremely sticky residue) on all surfaces . including ‘infiltrating’ surfaces inside closed containers such as document filing cabinets, etc.
This residue is a b***h of a problem.
It has also ‘infiltrated’ all my computer equipment . laptops and desktops. Also all my archived DVD and CD backups.
Q. Does anybody know of a method of cleansing the residue without doing damage to sensitive surfaces.
I have heard about using lemon-juice on lint-free pads. I am concerned about doing damage to my PC and laptop and disks. Also heard about WET-ONES wipes.
What is my best choice.
Does anyone have an awesome suggestion.
