Knives are a tricky question. Its all about what is balanced in the hand and what feels good to you. Hold the knives in your hand that you are thinking about and see which you like best. As far as the two companies both are very good. You can’t go wrong with either. I own a few of both, but love my Calphalon Katana knives the best.

As far as cookware I have to go with the Calphalon Professional series, I love it. I also use my Le Creuset a lot, but it is very heavy.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
