the insurance company will most likely log this as a new claim as it is a separate incident but if the tradesman is proven to have been negligent then the costs of the claim would be recovered from them. the insurance company will have emergency tradesmen who can come out during weekends if you have no water so just explain that to them.

good luck with it all xx

The repair company is liable if they did something wrong. It is not the insurance companies fault.

I would not put in a second claim. If there is just minimal damage, you should get the repair company to cover it or just eat it. If you put in a second claim it is a separate claim and a new deductible would apply so you probly will not get much money anyways. The other thing is if you put in a second claim your company may cancel your policy.

I would not put in a second claim at all for a long time unless it is a serious and expensive claim.
