I had one. Biggest pain in the butt ever. My kids really did not play with it and it took up too much room. If you have to get one, get the smallest one you can and get the cheapest one you can. It will just get messed up and broken and is not worth the money. I threw the one I had away because it was such a pain. Your child is not going to have a bad childhood because she did not have a life sized kitchen toy to play with.

Mam, I think I would go with the Large Pastel Kitchen, because in that way she would enjoy this, and I’m sure she will take good care of it, and she could grow with it, and you would have got your money’s worth out of it.Because I think if you got the plastic one, over time the plastic might splinter, and hurt her,and plastic is prone to break sooner, ya think. Just my opinion.

I wouldn’t buy one at her age yet. The ideal age would be 3 and like others have said, many kids don’t put them to use too often. It’s your choice though.

i’m a mommy to 3 girls and my little ones love to play dress up and tea party.

we have a nice wooden playset from pottery barn kids but we bought it last year when my kids were 8,6,and 5. It cost about 500 bucks but they play with it every day and it’s super sturdy. I wouldn’t recommend buying one like this until your daughter is much older.

when my kids were babies (your daughter’s age) I bought a simple plastic one from fisher price (or playschool-can’t remember brand). the reason for this was babies like noise, music, and bright colors. the wooden playset was more suited for older kids. they loved their “baby sized” kitchens and played with them often (I only replaced it once during the 4 years we had it). the plastic ones are alot more sturdy than you think they are and should hold up just fine.

here are some models that would be perfect for your daughter’s age

Hello,

I found some good ones on this site. There are even some made of wood, so they seem to be quite sturdy.

Just click the link, and type “kitchen” into the search:

I hope you can find what you’re looking for.

Good Luck.
