would you mind living in a kitchen. that is my sister’s bedroom and i am wondering what sort of etiquittte is required when someone lives in your kitchen.
she moved back home earlier in the year and that was the only space available incase you are wondering why. she does have a bed and a dresser in there (and the cabinet with the dishes by her feet plus a litter box above her head lol).
but would you be willing to live in the kitchen. and if so what would be your ettiquitte rules for people who enter your “room”.
her only ones are the kitchen closes at midnight so she can sleep and she prefers that we not throw the dishes on her bed until we can get to them.
no it’s the cat’s litter box. and the cat sleeps on top of the cabinet at her feet.
although it does suck when the cat flings the litter on her head or pounces into her stomach
the visitors are sort of confused when they see it first but they get used to it
to michelle: it’s a 2 bedroom house with parents in one room and us other 3 kids in the other room. no way could we fit another bed in there.
plus our cousins sort of live on the sofas. so that’s out of the question too.
well atleast they stay over often and crash on the sofas
and no we don’t eat in there. we just sort of take our plates wherever we feel like eating (outside, in front of the tv, our beds. wherever)

Your sister has a litter box. Is that because she’s a cat. Better than being a female dog, though.
I would not put the cat litter box in the kitchen.
.
Its sad that someone else in the family can’t make room for her.
no, I don’t think I could live/sleep in a kitchen.
Kitchen knives are in kitchens. Yes for yahoo.
Sounds reasonable to me.
no I couldn’t
That would be a big “hell no”. Besides being unsanitary and invasive to the homeowner, it can’t look good to visitors.
Obviously it’s not ideal, but I think it’s nice that you have the kind of family that will take each other in like that.
Would I live in a kitchen. Sure-better than a cardboard box.
Beats the street dont know about the litter box above the head that would suck but yer i would.
I wouldn’t want to.but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I wouldn’t have the litter box in the kitchen no matter what. YUK.
I think you are full of sh.t. No one could live in a kitchen
if i had to, sure i would, she sounds like she certainly has the right attitude to it - all with a grain of salt. here here to your sis.
Its a little wierd but not so much. One time when we had family stay over they were in my room and i didnt want to sleep in the front room with my brother so I slept in the kitchen.
I had a roommate who’s room was the living room.
I had a neighbor who’s room was the laundry room.
I had a friend in high school who had 5 brothers and they lived in a 3 bedroom house and one of the brothers actually slept outside. I think that was probly the weirdest.
So Its not really that wierd I guess. I suppose as long as its not the bathroom then its fine
I would very desperately try to find a way to get the hell out of there and into an apartment. Etiquitte. WTF. Living in her parents’ kitchen. You’re kidding me. If the kitchen is being used as a bedroom, then all rules have long since gone out the door. Do you guys eat in there. That seems very unsanitary. She needs to find a way to get out of there, not only for herself, but for you guys as well.
I live in the kitchen now. Just kidding. Just feels like it with all the cooking and cleaning. If that was the only option it would be ok but not for long.
