Life’s Good-The Motto of LG Dishwashers
LG, an acronym for Life’s Good, is an international company that began as Goldstar in 1958. At first LG focused on
electronics with innovative break throughs in Korean radio, telephones, and television. They expanded into appliances in 1965
with Korea’s first refrigerator and soon after with Korea’s first air conditioner in 1968. In 1978, the company established a
branch in the United States called LG Electronics U.S. All components of the company were merged and renamed LG Electronics
by 1995. LG dishwashers follow the high quality of their electronic products.
With their experience in the digital field, LG Electronics makes home appliances more user friendly while improving their
qualities to maximize space and function to the highest level of its particular use. The company’s website for the U.S.
branch is also very useful. Not only can you search/browse their products, but they also have a feature to help you locate
utility companies that offer rebates on energy efficient dishwashers and other appliances.
LG dishwashers can be semi-integrated or fully integrated. The semi-integrated dishwashers have user-friendly controls that
are fully visible. The fully integrated LG dishwashers have hidden controls for a beautiful, sleek outside. All LG
dishwashers have a direct drive motor to save space so that the load capacity is as large as possible.
The semi-integrated LG dishwasher is available in only one model. This has a stainless steel oversized tub that can hold a
16-place setting. The racks can be configured for maximum flexibility in loading including an adjustable top rack. Folding
tines, removable tines, and stemware holders make loading hard to fit dishes that much easier. The performance is top rate
with a premium sound reduction package and SenseClean system. The LG dishwasher has 6 cycles with 3 spray arms and multi-
level water direction. It even has a setting for half loads so that you never have to waste water when you need to run it
before it is full. With a water heater built-in, you can be assured the sanitary cycle will be hot enough to leave your
dishes germ free.
The fully integrated LG dishwashers are available in three different models. The LD F6810 also has the extra-large stainless
steel tub that holds a 16-place setting. It also offers the same excellent flexibility in loading as the previous model. The
performance is similar in that it has the sound reducing package, SenseClean system, and multi-level water direction. With
five wash cycles, this LG dishwasher has three spray arms and a water heater.
The LD7810 features the hidden controls but upgrades somewhat from the previous fully integrated model. It still has the
great loading options and huge washtub. It goes up to 6 wash cycles as it adds the half-load cleaning option back in. The
delay timer increases from up to 12 hours on the LD6810 to up to 24 hours on this model.
The LD7811 is the quietest of the LG dishwashers with the premium sound-reducing package. Its performance in loading and
cleaning is the same high quality of the previous model. This premium model, however, is available in more color options.
All of the LG dishwashers have a standard hard food disposer to keep the filter clean. Each can offer a degree of convenience
and performance that others may not afford to the customers. All of the LG dishwashers are EnergyStar rated, making them
eligible for utility rebates if they are offered in your area. To find an LD dishwasher retailer, you can use the company’s
locater feature on their website. They can also help you locate a service center if you ever need one.
